Exploring Hasbro's junior Star Wars line

The Republic Commando video game was a huge hit with Star Wars fans and gamers alike, so it’s great for them to finally receive some attention in the form of Galactic Heroes. The first 2 members of Delta Squad to be created are the green-striped Fixer and the orange-trimmed Boss. Both figures are impressive, and really stand out among the other Clones created in the line.

Now that the Christmas festivities have slowed down, we can return to the job of photographing some more Galactic Heroes! This time we get a look at two bad bounty hunters, Cad Bane and Aurra Sing. I’m really impressed with Cad Bane, he’s got some great presence, though he does suffer from some rough silver paint application. Aurra Sing looks great, but she has zero articulation except at the neck, which is a little disappointing.

Next in 2010’s Wave 1 is Snow Bunny Padme and the Senate Security Clone Trooper. Both figures look fantastic, enjoy.

It’s been a long time coming, but I’m going to start up my Photo Guide, one pack at a time!
Today we look at the squabbling duo from The Clone Wars, Anakin and Ahsoka. This set is from 2010’s Wave 1, where we see them in their Space outfits. I’ve supplied a generic shot of the package, courtesy of Hasbro, since I had already opened before I started my photography.

When Hasbro presented the upcoming wave of Galactic Heroes at Celebration V, they were only able to show us three out of the four 2-packs. Rumours swirled as to who the final pair of characters could be, and we now have confirmation that it will be Quinlan Vos and Barriss Offee! The evidence is seen in this eBay auction from a seller in China.

The Hasbro team has just shown us 3 of the 4 2-packs in 2010’s Wave 3! Included are a new Darth Vader (with his hands on his hips) and Luke Bespin; a Training Clone and Sergeant Bric; and a Senate Commando and an Aqua Battle Droid. The 4th pack will be revealed later.
