Anakin’s ROTS Starfighter and Jango’s Slave I Announced

Some great pics surfaced at Sir Steves Guide of two new Cinema Scenes!  No word yet on when we can expect to find them, but here’s what we’ll see:

First off is Anakin’s yellow Starfighter as seen in Revenge of the Sith – the set is titled “Attack on the Invisible Hand”.

As well, we are treated to Jango Fett’s Slave I as seen in Attack of the Clones – this set is named “Escape from Kamino”.

AT-AT Delayed Until 2011

Hasbro gave us some mixed news during their most recent Q&A session, as asked by  The good news is that the much anticipated AT-AT is still going to see release; the bad news is that we’ll have to wait until Fall 2011 to get our hands on it.

I guess that will give my Snowspeeder Pilots more time to train on how to take this bad boy down during the Battle of Hoth…

Bagged Singles in Europe

GHBags125x125These were released a few months ago, but I’ve finally been able to track down some details about the bagged single Galactic Heroes.  They were only released in Europe, which is reflected by the Spanish and Italian packaging.

Each figure is randomly packed, but the baggie allows you to easily feel the figure inside, which is rather handy for focus collectors.  A neat addition to each package is a trading card, showing a picture of the figure on one side and a piece of a poster on the back side — collect all of the cards and you get the complete poster!

There are 24 figures in all, and it appears that they are all repacks so there are no exclusive repaints to worry about finding.  However, I don’t know if each case has all 24 figures (or if the case has enough room for that many to begin with).

Here’s a breakdown of the figures to be found:

  • Anakin Skywalker
  • Battle Droid
  • Boba Fett
  • C-3PO
  • Chewbacca
  • Clone Trooper
  • Count Dooku
  • Darth Maul
  • Darth Vader
  • Durge
  • Emperor
  • General Grievous
  • Han Solo
  • Jango Fett
  • Jar Jar Binks
  • Luke Skywalker – Tatooine
  • Luke Skywalker – Hoth
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi – ROTS
  • Padme Amidala
  • Qui-Gon Jinn
  • R2-D2
  • Stormtrooper
  • Super Battle Droid
  • Yoda

2 Cinema Scenes Found at Ross Stores

RossLogo I’ve read a few reports at JediDefender and Hasbro Heroes that a couple of older sets have been discovered at Ross stores for a very nice price of $8.99.  The great looking Rancor and AT-RT sets have been found, so you may be pleasantly surprised if you check out a Ross store in your area.
